Knee Pain or Back Problems Keeping You Downstairs? Consider a stair lift.

My mother-in-laws knees are hurting. I wonder if knee surgery is in her near future. I worry about her, especially when I see her prop her knee on the hassock and wince as she places an ice bag on her swollen knee. The other knee is starting to bother her too, no doubt due to the fact that she’s placing more weight on her good knee.

She lives in a very nice two story house—and all of the bedrooms are upstairs. She really can’t convert one of her rooms downstairs into a bedroom because of the arrangement of the house and the proximity to the bathroom. I see a pillow and cover stashed at the end of the couch. I suspect some nights she just can’t make the climb.

I suggested she check into a Stairlift.
You might be experiencing the same type of situation. Your knees or your back is causing you to avoid going upstairs. Maybe you find yourself sleeping on the couch in the den and then waking up with a crick in your neck. Even if you do have surgery and/or physical therapy, there are no guarantees that you can bound up ten or twelve stairs like you could ten or twenty years ago. You might not want to move. You like your house, your neighborhood, so you put up with the inconvenience.

You don’t have to move—or sleep on the couch for the rest of your life.
Stairlifts are an affordable, safe, and easy alternative that gives you your house back. They’re easily installed, easy to operate, and within a few days of checking out a Stairlift, you could be sleeping in your own comfy bed.

Isn’t the thought of sleeping in your own bed within a day or two worth checking out?
